Instructional Writing - Outdoor Magic Potions

We visited the Downshire gardens in search of natural materials for our potion. We are a very imaginative bunch and instead of seeing leaves, conkers and flowers, we saw fairy wings, dragon scales and dinosaur poop. When we arrived back at school we took pictures of our ingredients and created a pic collage showing all the wonderful natural ingredients we found. Our classroom was filled with excitement and laughter as we came up with magical ideas for each ingredient.
