P2 completed a carousel of topic activities based on Light and Dark.
Each table conducted a science experiment of making simple circuits. We predicted what we thought would happen when we connected the bulb to the battery using wires and drew conclusions.
We created a dark den and experimented with torches and glow in the dark shapes.
Finally, we completed our Northern Lights artwork, and we spoke about natural and artificial sources of light 💡 ☀️
We have been learning about o’clock and half past.
The class were given a hula hoop, card, a marker and cubes to problem solve and create their own clock faces.

P2 searched our school grounds for 2D and 3D shapes.
A sunny day in May was the perfect opportunity to experiment with water.
We learnt about how to care for pets in World Around Us. In pairs, we completed a challenge to build a 'pretend' hutch for a rabbit using boxes and other craft materials.
P2 are really enjoying learning about their new topic of Growing and Changing. Highlights have been making leaf hedgehogs and playing our Garden Centre.
